Over the years I have seen some excellent examples of what I call "No" signs. I often wonder when I see these signs whether anything is allowed at these places. I dare say each symbol represents some regulation in some "demi-gods" world.

So far the maximum number of "Prohibition" or "Advisory " symbols I have seen mounted on one post is Sixteen (16). I would love to see what the world record is.

How stupid is the sign we so often see in Reserves and Parks. "NO UN-AUTHORISED DUMPING OF RUBBISH."  I guess it is OK for the "demi-gods" to do this.

Some Authorities and Bureaucracy’s are very inventive with these signs. Perhaps an International  "No" sign award needs to be created.

Some "No" symbols will call for imaginative thinking, just imagine the symbol required for "No NUDE Bathing," or even better still what about one allowing nude bathing. Any suggestion will be gratefully received and forwarded to the relevant authorities.

Some "No" signs leave "no" room for interpretation. Here is my favourite!
